Kinetic
installation by Chris Henschke exhibited at Counterpoint Gallery
(Level 11, Secure carpark, Flinders Lane Melbourne) August
- October 2007.
The piece was conceived and constructed just a few days before the
opening, based upon a dream I had of a bread roll filled with audio
cables and old gramophone music playing in the background.
Features rotating 2 sided hardwood blackboard from Brunswick; mango
wood gramophone player from Bombay markets; sounds from 'Brunswick'
label 78 rpm gramophone records and Brunswick 11000V step-transformer.
